Gentlemen:

 

A foggy cool start gave way to clear skies and nice temperatures for February on the Grand Strand. Heritage was in decent shape as the greens were relatively quick and the fairways soft.  We had only three 80-breakers today: RB (71), Bill S (74) and Jackie R (79).  Nice shooting men.

 

First place today was snatched by Team Loomis (RB, Bob B, Rich G and Dan A) at +12.  Dan A broke out and posted +5 and RB and Bob were both +4.   In second place two strokes back was Team Swann (Bill S, Justin K, Frank S and Joe S) at +10.  Justin was the horse there posting +6.  The door prize went to Team Bales (Bruce B, Matt S, Pat L and Bob M) at +5.  Murph showed nicely posting +5.

 

We had some confusion with the skins.  Jackie and Rich both birdied #8.  It should have been a cut, but Rich's bird was not reported.  Other than that, we had Jackie on #4, Bill S on #5, Mark B on #9, RB on #13, Patrick H on #15 and Mark C on #18.  I paid $15 each.  I also paid Jackie for #8.  I recommend RB, Jackie and Rich figure out what you want to do.

 

We need to tighten up a couple things.  First, be aware if you are in the last group on either side that you need to retrieve the par 3 markers.  Bill Brown had to go back out on the course to get the ones left on the back nine.  Also, if you have to leave early, please try to designate someone to take your winnings.  Pat has Bill Swann's money, and I have $15 for Mark Bolick.

 

Next week we stay with the Legends group as we visit Parkland.  First tee time is 9:00AM, double tee, room for 32 at $44.
